Interview: Don’t get lost in translation

You’re perfect for that job! So … why can’t they see it? Chances are good that you’re getting lost in translation. In other words, just because YOU know you can do the job doesn’t mean that THEY can! Now, here’s the catch: neither recruiters nor hiring managers have the time (or interest) in figuring out how your past will fit their future. It’s up to you to express it clearly and concisely. This can’t happen in the heat of the moment, so please do yourself a favor: take time to translate your skills BEFORE your next interview.
